🏡🏡🏡 The Green Cities Europe Award – Ireland
Have you worked on a project adding green landscaping to our built environment?
Each European country holds their own national award competition, and national winners will represent their country in the European wide Green Cities Europe awards.
Competing projects in the awards will champion the ideals behind the Green Cities campaign, highlighting the importance of green areas in minimising the consequences of climate change, while raising awareness for the wider benefits green space can offer for human wellbeing, biodiversity, social cohesion and the economy.

Questions you can consider before you fill in the form:
- The project name/title and contact person for the project nomination
- Short Description of the project
- The impact of the project on:
- Social cohesion (community solidarity and togetherness)
- Biodiversity
- Economic factors
- Climate
- Wellbeing of visitors (locals/tourists)
- Short informational notes on:
- The selection, origin and quality of used products and materials (greenery and constructing materials)
- The overall design (landscape and optional associated buildings)
- The impact on the environment (holistic, circular approach)
- The innovation value of the project

📝 Important to note:
- The project must have been fully realised and put into use
- The project must have been completed after 01/01/2018
- Live plants make a substantial part of the project; either in number or in ’identity’
