The Green Cities campaign encourages Irish local authorities, planners, builders and architects to embed green spaces in all projects new and pre-existing using Irish grown plants. The designed parklet was recreated as a standard residential street, using repurposed materials which will all be recycled after the festival in Dublin City Council’s greening strategy. 🌱 Green Cities Europe aims to combat the consequences of climate change and improve living and working conditions by encouraging the inclusion of green spaces in new building projects, and by adding them to existing projects. The Green Cities Europe campaign is being run by Bord Bia – The Irish Food Board in Ireland on behalf of the Irish Hardy Nurserystock Association (IHNSA). This campaign is supported by funding from the European Union 🇪🇺
