🏆 A big congratulations to Thegreencitiesdk 🇩🇰 and the ‘Basecamp Lyngby’ project for winning the Green Cities Europe Award 2023! 🎉

‘Basecamp Lyngby’ is an innovative housing project surrounded by the lush greenery of Sorgenfri Cemetery and Lyngby Lake. The curved building’s rooftop features a flourishing landscape with tall grasses and inviting green pathways. The development also includes organic pathways that seamlessly blend with the natural surroundings, accentuating the plantings. Along the building’s facades, captivating spaces and an inner courtyard with small terraces create an exciting atmosphere. The project showcases the integration of architecture and landscape, promoting social sustainability and delivering high-quality design. 🌱

The winner of the Green Cities Europe Award 2023 was announced on Tuesday in Brussels. The second and third price were given to France and the Netherlands, respectively.
